Claudel Callender offers life celebrant services, bringing a unique and personalized touch to wedding and funeral ceremonies. For weddings, he creates tailor-made celebrations that reflect the love and values of the couple, making each moment unforgettable. For funerals, Claudel accompanies families with compassion and respect, designing heartfelt tributes that honor the memory of the deceased. Whether celebrating a union or saying goodbye to a loved one, Claudel Callender is committed to making each ceremony deeply meaningful and moving.

 

I offer bereaved families meaningful and personalized celebrations that meet their expectations, marked by respect, dignity and compassion. After studying theology at the UDM, I took several training courses with Jean Monbourquette on mourning, forgiveness and reconciliation, particularly with the association of celebrants of life. I have been participating in funeral celebrations as a singer, pianist and choir director for nearly 30 years. A recognized teacher (UQAM, Collège de Joliette, McGill Conservatory) and sought-after speaker, I hold a doctorate in music from the UDM. I approach all musical genres with joy and passion. I currently work at the Complexe Charles Rajotte in Repentigny, where my services are highly appreciated.

My celebrant services include:

 

1. a choice of over 50 appropriate spiritual readings;

2. a choice of 3 musical pieces from my popular or classical repertoire);

3. a telephone call or a personalized meeting of 30 to 50 minutes with the bereaved families in order to clearly identify their expectations and the type of celebration they desire;

4. the development of the course of the celebration submitted for final approval.

 

It will be my pleasure to accompany you in one of the pivotal moments of every life, namely the final farewell of one of your loved ones.

*For each service, a proper invoice will be issued. Allow an additional $0.45/km for trips over 50 km.
